First time going and we were super happy. We did a quick search of best breakfast places and it was top of the list. They have vegan, gluten free options which is really nice. My husband ordered a Hash, it was loaded with veggies and bacon. I had the veggie eggs Benny. So yummy. We had great service by a lovely young lady. Super polite and kind. We will be back Forgot to mention a really great cold brew.
5/5 – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic breakfast at The Breakfast Nook. The breakfast hash was fresh and flavorful, with perfectly cooked ingredients. The toast was served with butter and jam that were absolutely delicious—unlike anything we’ve had elsewhere. The potatoes were also a standout! We also tried the waffle with a side of fresh fruit, which was delightful, along with a mocha and hot chocolate, both of which were excellent. The service was warm and attentive, making the cozy atmosphere even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be coming back!
I have to admit, coming here my expectations were not high. I really thought they would use store bought hashbrowns but I was super impressed. It was all homemade and the portion size was a lot. The breakfast hash was great and the hollandaise sauce was the cherry on top. The service was equally just as good. Would recommend this place if you are in the area.
Honestly, we booked the quality inn just because the Breakfast Nook is attached to it! As soon as we woke up, they were already open. We ordered a latte, cappuccino, ham Benny's, and meat hash. The coffees were very light in flavor but we enjoyed them. Everything was so good, the service was great, nice and quiet inside. Highly recommend!
We came in *because* someone was responding to the reviews, good and bad (no matter what, there are always bad reviews: some people can't help but find fault, and sometimes no matter how you try there are faults to be found). But the responses were thoughtful and showed the owners were paying attention. And there were plenty of good reviews, too. The menu had what we wanted. So we gave the place a try. Everything was just right. The server was new (her first day, she said) but charming and helpful. The portions were not too excessive (we dislike wasting food). Maybe next time we will split the hash browns (pan style, crispy, very nice). Excellent. It helps that it's a sunny day.
OK. This has to be a trendy place because it was so busy for 10:30 on a Thursday. We had to wait 20 minutes. But it's a hidden, cute, little place, and the waitress is like someone you have known for a long time. That kind of vibe.
We had Hannah as our server and the other server (a bit older, didn't catch her name) was also checking in on us regularly. Had the Bacon Benny and it was absolutely amazing! One of the best ones I've ever had. Highly highly recommend trying this place, the service and food were both incredible!
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. I enjoyed the breakfast hash. They gave me perfect medium eggs, which I find a lot of places struggle to perfect. The server was very welcoming and on top of everything for all the tables. Service was speedy too, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. The only issue was that the ketchup wasn't my favourite, but I only tried it just to see, and the dish did not need ketchup, so overall, I was very pleased with this place. Definitely check it out!
